In addition to our LOS analysis project, we are working with Union County to update their Critical Intersection Analysis. A 30 day input period on the development of a critical intersection list begins March 18, 2019 and will close April 18, 2019. This list of intersections will guide local efforts in securing grants and coordinate efforts between the municipalities, County, and NCDOT. Here is a link to view the plan and provide feedback. There will also be 2 public meetings to solicit comments on the proposed intersections. There will be no formal presentation, so the public is welcome to attend these meetings at any time. Representatives from local municipalities and NCDOT will be available at each meeting to discuss the initiative and answer questions.
