Union County Chamber Directors Pass Wastewater Resolution
Last Friday, the Union County Chamber Board of Directors adopted a “Resolution Calling for Immediate Action to Address the Wastewater Capacity Crisis in Union County”. In the resolution, the Chamber reiterates its position that immediate planning and funding for increasing wastewater treatment capacity is needed for the support and growth of business and industry. Commercial and industrial growth is critical to the continued health and success of our community. To support expansion, development, and growth of Union County business, adequate cost-effective infrastructure, including wastewater treatment capacity, is essential.
Further, the Chamber calls on elected officials at all levels of government to work together to resolve this crisis. The Chamber pledges to work with entities focused on solving this challenge.
