The NC Safety Council has postponed all of their classes for the next month due to local and national responses to COVID-19. We currently have 6 participants registered and paid, their places will be held for when the class is rescheduled. The time and location will remain the same, and it will be a Saturday.
The Town of Weddington is hosting the annual Litter Sweep on April 25 starting at 8 a.m. Volunteers are needed! Meet at Town Hall located at 1924 Weddington Road. Trash bags, gloves, and safety vests will be provided. There will be free coffee and donuts and a prize for the most unusual piece of trash!
Truliant Federal Credit Union is sponsoring an onsite shredding event in the Town Hall parking lot from 12 noon to 3:00 p.m. Bring your sensitive documents and get them disposed of properly!
